Project presentation

The non-thermal plasma activated water (PAW) has a notable effect on the plants growing and pests elimination (bio-disinfection). PAW reduces the period of plants growing and increases the biomass and provides plants leaves disinfection and effective as bio fertilizer in the same time.

This project proposal aims implement some new methods of ecological and non-stressful treatment of plants for eliminating or reducing to a minimum of the quantity of chemical substances (pesticides) used for the protection of plants against the pathogen agents or for stimulating growth compounds (fertilizer).

The thematic of the project refers to the sustainable intensification of crop plants and systems of agriculture, by developing integrated, systems-based approaches to biomass increasing, organic pesticides and fertilizers, intensive land exploitation of greenhouses by using interdisciplinary and innovative technologies.
